Includes 1/4 mile swim in the crystal clear waters of Rattlensnake Lake with with fresh snow melt off the Cascades Mountains from the Cedar watershed. A mixed road/trail course (3 mile/7 mile) up the Palouse to Cascade Mountain bike.

Join us Labor Day weekend 2026 for an incredible sprint triathlon. Includes 1/4 mile swim in the crystal clear waters of Rattlensnake Lake with with fresh snow melt off the Cascades Mountains from the Cedar watershed. A mixed road/trail course (3 mile/7 mile) up the Palouse to Cascade Mountain bike trail (regular road bike is Okay) on this limestone/hard packed dirt trail. You top off your day with a 4 mile trail run on 3 mile of asphalt bike path and 1 mile of hard packed limestone/dirt path of the scenic Rattlesnake and Cascades Park. Don't miss this hidden gem of the Pacific Northwest. The event fills up fast and has a cap. Good Luck!
There is plenty of free parking at Rattlesnake Lake SPU (Seattle Public Utilities) lot. If you park at the Washington State Trail lot you will have to display a Discover Pass ($15/day or $45/yr) https://discoverpass.wa.gov/.…
