About the event
One of the great late season events for this classic sprint triathlon in the heart of the great Pacific Northwest. You start off your journey with a 1/4-mile swim in pristine Beaver Lake. Lifeguards will be there to assist you as needed. After your swim you mount your bike for a majestic trek around King County and the City of Sammamish up the challenging Duthie Hill. The lollipop route takes you through a scenic route with views of the Cascade mountains and rural farm homes. After dismounting your bike and racking, you capture your score and prepare for your final leg which is a scenic 4.3-mile jaunt around the Beaver Lake and the quaint neighborhoods of Beaver Lake Estates.
